Un programa para acesorar hijos de padres encarcelados
It’s the friendship that makes the difference.

Being a New Corazon Kids Initiative mentor is about friendship.  A study
conducted at Baylor University about children with mentors found:

  74% increase in the child’s attendance in school
  84% increase in completed classwork              
  60% decline in suspensions from school          
  79% decline in participating in gangs                

Being an NCK mentor doesn’t mean being a perfect.  
It means being yourself and sharing the best part of yourself and your life
experience with a new friend.
Children of incarcerated parents need you.
Impact, influence, change a heart, change a life.
Be a friend.
